What is Psychotherapy?
“You can’t stop the waves,
but you can learn to surf.”
– Jack Kornfield –
Counseling can help you find new ways of dealing with things you struggle with daily. It can help with coping for losses, stress, divorce, low grades, peer problems, spousal discord. It gives us a way to come to terms with a difficult past or present and helps us to understand ourselves better.
Sometimes we just need to talk to someone so that we feel seen and heard. I will listen with compassion and support you without judgment.
A Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) helps individuals, couples, families and children explore and solve problems. Helping you or your child feel safe so that you feel able to speak openly and freely in session is very important to me. I will not judge you, your family or your family situation. Whatever you say in session is completely confidential, except in some occasions where someone’s safety is in jeopardy. If you have questions or concerns about confidentiality please do not hesitate to ask me when we meet.

The Brainspotting technique is truly amazing. Please watch the video here and, if interested, please contact me! I am certified in Brainspotting and would love to work with you.
